![]() ![]() Indulge in exceptional Waldorf Astoria hospitality and relax in opulently decorated interiors. "A true Arabian palace offering an oasis of tranquility and luxury in the city of Jeddah. the view is only positive note on the place. ![]() Don't be fooled by room pics and the view. My wife called back and sent a copy of our booking and the reception said oh ok 2pm. Asked for a late checkout for 3pm was declined and then proceeded to tell my wife she had to be out by 1pm even though booking said checkout was 2pm. Place just felt dirty!!! $600 a night you would expect a much better standard. The kitchen counter and cabinets have burn marks and damage. Mold/Mildew and scum in the bathroom grout, water damage on the wood cabinets in bathroom. Bottom line is the place is old and not well maintained. My wife then cleaned the first 1.5 hours in the room. Mask the smell instead of discovering the root issue. Reported to reception and they sent a cleaner whom proceeded to spray air freshener and mop floor. Definitely worth trying!! The food, cleanliness and everything is just great! Make sure to visit at least once with your family!! I loved staying there and hope you do too!! Rating a 5 out of 5!!" "it was a perfict trip " "First off we checked in and the room smelled like sewer and stale cigarette smoke. I used to visit this hotel on weekly basis and now on monthly basis." View Deals All facilities are perfect, all staff are welcoming and supportive, excellent room service, excellent laundry, nice housekeeping and most of all lovely front desk staff. The Ritz Jeddah is the destintion while in Jeddah due to the Staff and the Hotel Beauty." "This Hotel is considered my second home by all means. Also Mart at the gym was my personal trainer and attended to my needs. Also Shahrukh Khan, Albader Alhazmi and Hadi were very helpful. ![]() When I needed to broadcast an internet show, the concierge boys truly rolled out the red carpet, setting me up with table, chairs and beverage outside with a stunning backdrop of the lit hotel." "My wife and I felt so welcomed and were treated like Royalty! Mohammed Alharbi, better known as Harbi (our personal Jeddah google) made our trip to the Red Sea area extra memorable. That said, the staff were more than accommodating. This is the Ritz-Carlton, after all, not some Holiday Inn in Peoria. Let adults have a place to enjoy their desires. While draconian measures might be welcome in fascist places like the United States, it is unwelcome elsewhere. Evidently, the Marriott corporation has become so hell-bent on their War On Tobacco that they shut down any and all cigar lounges in all properties worldwide. For the most part, it was everything as you'd expect. Not to level of opulence as the lobby and hallways (but I was only in a ”regular room”) but it was just lovely. I was blown away by the detail in the lobby alone. In a way that only Arabian Royalty would produce. From the moment you approach the compound in the car, into the lobby and the rest of the building. "I stayed here on business and this simply is one of the most opulent hotels I've ever stayed. ![]()
